No, I do not know completely what the title to this entry means. Though vaguely I do. And it's just some lyrics.
Weee, I finally finished the next chapter of the fanfic!
In fact, I know all the things to write at the moment, so I'm even making a backlog! So, about this fanfic, so that you know, I don't rely on views and comments. It's just a very good motivator, haha. But I'll keep going until I have nothing left to say. So, no, there is no set number of chapters, I just know what's going to happen. The story seems to be more writing itself than anything, you could say.
But now then, do I post the chapter today, or should I just wait until Wednesday? *shrugs*.
But now then, do I post the chapter today, or should I just wait until Wednesday? *shrugs*.
And I totally went back into Chapter 13 and fixed that one line of Emppu's because I was a retard, haha.
On another note, not writing related, I've finished that video I made. Woop. It won't be done uploading 'til tomorrow though, and then you can watch it.
Now, all you friendly readers and people I will forcibly poke over here, I need help making a decision. Which song do I learn next on guitar?
10th Man Down
Ever Dream
Slaying the Dreamer
The Siren
All by, naturally, Nightwish.
THIS DECISION IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE.
I got kind of sad last night because I was reading an email I got on May 11th, 2007 from Isa in regards to something I wrote on my old blog. It makes me sad because we don't talk anymore. The blog entry was about how you can never really know if somebody you've never met is lying to you or not online, and how they can never know if you're lying or not, and how it kind of sucks that way, because you want to think you have a real friendship with these people, but it'd be so easy for them to fabricate a life. So, part of what she wrote was:
"From those 9 people I don't know, I feel 3 of them are my friends (one of them is you)...because I believe everything they say to me, I don't really know why, but I feel sure they're not lying to me, so I don't lie to them either, and I tell them the things that I really think and feel..."
And I can remember those days, when we were pretty tight (as much as can be online), and we'd have these pretty profound conversations (seriously, wow). So yeah, it depresses me because she said I was one of the three people she's never met that she trusted, and we were friends, and now I think of the people I talk to now who say the same thing, and that I say the same thing to, and I just wonder if it's all going to wind up how it is now with me and Isa, where we talk once every like...2 months, and we find out that our interests aren't in common at all anymore, and the conversations die right away. It's depressing. I think I'll stop thinking about this now. If only it were so easy. This is a retarded thing to be sad over, but I'm sure all you other internet and MSN-holics could get where I'm coming from, right?
So anyways...further news from my Europe travel journal (since I know that at least Shanel cares).
Day 5 - Venice - 22:20 - March 24
I didn't get the chance to write yesterday, but not much happened anyway. We stopped in Innsbruck at a crystal shop where I bought a bracelet. Most stores were closed for Easter but we went to a chocolate store where I bought a chocolate bar (way better than Canadian chocolate).
Then we went to Verona, where Romeo & Juliet is set. We saw Juliet's balcony (which isn't really her balcony) which was pretty cool. Then we drove to our hotel. I talked to one of the Americans on the way to Verona. His name's Will and he's nice.
Anyways, today we went on a walking tour of Venice (our guide had the most adorable accent) and then had 6 hours of free time. Me, Paige and Chantal wandered around, went for pizza, which was the best pizza ever, and shopped. I found a Nightwish hoodie! I nearly died of happiness. Something more for them to sign when I meet them on May 14th! We went to a glassblowing place where I bought Jeanette a glass penguin. I also bought a Venitian mask. Venice has a lot of great things, but it's also kinda gungy and smelly. Verona was the same. Weather was cloudy and cold with some sun, yesterday as well. Tomorrow's Rome!
Day 7 - Rome - 22:20 - March 26
Yesterday wasn't exciting so I didn't write anything. Basically, we drove all day, got to Rome and had supper (mushroom pizza with fruit for dessert - mildly disappointing, I gotta say) then went to the hotel. I had an epic email from Daria, which was nice to read. I'm going to try to respond tomorrow in Florence if we have internet.
So today we went on a tour of Rome. We saw Vatican City, the Colosseum and the Spanish Steps. Our guide was dreadfully monotonous. We then had 2 hours of free time, so me, Chantal and Paige got gelaties. We got lost on our way back to the Spanish Steps. We followed the map, which said the street led there but there was a gate where (in hindsight) the top of the steps would have been, and it was closed. We had ten minutes to get there before we were late so we ran to another street and finally found our way to the top of the steps, barely on time. Our group took the metro to the restaurant and some guy grabbed my ass. Which was awkward.
Supper was lasagna (the best I've ever tasted), roast beef & veggies, and a fruit cup for dessert.
I'm starting to want to go home. The American girls are bitches (I've overheard conversations between them about us) and I'm constantly paranoid that they're talking about me. It's for that, mainly, that I'd like to go home.
Day 8 - Florence - 21:21 - March 27
Today started off pretty badly. We were out the door at 7:30 and I was starving by the time we got here but we arrived late and only had half an hour for lunch. Me and Paige wanted to just go anywhere and get food but weren't allowed to go on our own, so we had to follow the group who was following Mr.Chapman. Turns out he had no idea where he was going so we didn't get to eat until 4:30, after the tour. Oh, and I got hit by a bike. Yes, a bike. We were crossing the street and a bus barely stopped for us to cross. It was about a foot away. Distracted by this, I didn't see the bicyclist. So it was a shock to have him crash into me. He yelled at me in Italian (if I had hit someone with my bike, I'd have stopped, apologized and checked to see i they were okay) and rode off. I think Nolan tried to stop my fall, but he couldn't. I hit the ground (as did my camera) and lay in the street for far too long. That damn bus was like two feet from my head. I don't remember who helped me up, but I think it was Montana. Anyways, it didn't hurt until after; I think I might have been shocked (both by being hit and by how rude the guy who hit me was).
My mood was vastly improved after eating. Chantal, Paige and I went shopping though some marketplace thing with lots of kiosks (though the vendors were really pushy). I bought a leather purse (original price: 95 euro. I got it for 60), 2 Nightwish shirts, a Nightwish patch and a leather bracelet! I'm ecstatic by how much Nightwish stuff that one store had. I sat on the floor with like ten Nightwish shirts around me, almost crying with happiness (maybe that's a tiny bit of an exaggeration). It was all men's shirts, but I'll be getting them tailored. The guy who helped me was really nice, too.
Rooming with two Americans tonight. Nice to your face, mean behind your back.
Supper was bowtie pasta, mystery meat & potatoes, and ice cream.
Tomorrow's Switzerland! Hope the weather's nice and that my mp3 player doesn't die.

Currently Listening: The Power of Love by Oomph!
The power of love,
A force from above,
Cleaning my soul.
Flame on burn desire,
Love with tongues of fire.
Purge the soul,
Make love your goal.
I adore this band. Seriously. I'm so glad I found out about them. Then again, they don't distribute in North America, so *sighs*...no CDs for me, until I have money to order some, at least.
Countdown: 17 days!

Good to know you got over your writer's block ^^
I'd prefer if you posted them chapter today (or asap or whatever) to make up fo r last Wednesday.
As for the song, I vote for Slaying the dreamer
When the video is done, please give the link to it as I must have missed the fact that you had a youtube (I think) account.
I should really get back to reading your fanfic. I did read it at the beginning but life kinda took over. Im so bad
OK the whole msn friends thing is depressing. Like considering I talk to some of these people daily you made me go like "omg omg omg" but now im cool. I had a lil brief paranoia spaz, but I am just a spaz in general, well you know that.
Venice sounds cool. I love the Venitian mask that you bought. It is really really pretty and I can total picture how estatic you were when you found the Nightwish hoodie.
Rome - Those American girls sound like total bitches. I would've slaaped there stupid lil american faces. lol
Florence - The whole not getting to eat lunch thing sucks considering you spend the day walking and must have been starving.I can't believe you got hit by a bike and then he had the nerve to yell at you. That is just totally rude. Im glad that the bus didn't roll over you *fewf*
Your shopping experience sounds fun. I can just imaging you when you found all the Nightwish stuff. You must of been in like Nightwish heaven, you got some cool stuff out of it.
The fact that you had mystery meat for dinner totally disturbs me. I totally made like a squimish face when I read that
hihihi
"Our group took the metro to the restaurant and some guy grabbed my ass. Which was awkward." <---OMGOSH that is totally creepy. How the hell did you react to being ass touched by a complete stranger. I would have been like OMFG
"Our guide was dreadfully monotonous." <--this just made me LOL
the choose of words sounds so smart and worldy
awesome entry
