SO MANY WORDS.

I AM DYING! I swear to god. No, I can't be (swearing to god since I'm atheist...but I meant I can't be dying), because I must at least live until May 15th ^.^
But SERIOUSLY this cold is killing me, because it isn't a cold, I swear it's some malicious French lung-destroying disease. Instead of getting better, it's only getting worse. I could barely breathe in geo class today, I swear. It was baaaaaad. DAMN PARISIANS! Or rather, DAMN EF FOR NOT GETTING A GOOD HOTEL IN PARIS because I BET that's where it's from. I swear I could FEEL it entering my lungs that first night there, and oh, it wasn't only me who got sick there, no. BUT WHATEVER!

You know what I just realized? I missed American Idol, which I was going to watch tonight because someone was singing an Our Lady Peace song and I was all "GASP! WHAT?! Canadian music in the States?! SHOCK! HORROR! HAPPINESS!" ahaha.
Overtired? Maybe.

Anywho...what can I say? I dunno if ya'll read the announcement I made over at my fanfic, but see here's the thing. I'm supposed to have an update for tomorrow night, and I haven't written a thing, because I don't know what to write. THIS IS WHY I MUST SPEAK WITH MIKE! DUDE! Why aren't you ever online? I neeeeed your heeeeeeelp. Because here's the thing: Tarja. She is the only character I CANNOT figure out what to do with. When I started writing, she was going to be VILE but then I was like, "Naw, she wouldn't be that mean." So I was going to fix it all so that she went back to being kind of diva-ish like she was in the what was it? 3rd chapter? But then there is the whole issue of ending my last chapter like I did because of certain bad bad things going on then, and it wasn't going to end like that, but it did, and of course I can't just ignore her now, not with an ending like that and I FUCKED IT ALL UP SO DAMN BAD! Arg. I'm sure it'll all work out, somehow, and I'll get around to writing things how they were intended to be eventually. Because I know what will happen, and it isn't good. Poor Anette :(
But this is what my muse dictates, so this is what will be.

This is going to be a long blog post, in case you hadn't noticed.

So anyways, today I had lots of bonding time with my lovely guitar, because we had some catching up to do after my extensive absence. Of course, I played guitar the night I got back, even though it was 5 in the morning at that time, but I needed to spend more time. So today, I think I just played and played for about 2 hours straight, and then some more. It was excellent. I taught myself to play Nemo (solo and all!) and Dead Boy's Poem, though I'm not fond of my acoustic guitar, so Dead Boy's Poem, wasn't so fun to play. I of course also played other songs, but Nemo was the one I played the most I think, because that solo's pretty fun.

I know, I blither a lot.

So heyyy you guys wanna read my travel journal?

I'll just post the Germany days today though, okies?

ALRIGHTY!

Day 1 - Frankfurt - 21:51 - March 20
We've arrived in Europe after a 2-hour delay at the Toronto airport. Chantal & I arrived at the international departures almost half an hour after what was supposed to be boarding time only to find that our group still had not boarded. Shortly after, though, we boarded and waited for departure, which was supposed to be half an hour later by that time.
After ten minutes had passed beyond when we were supposed to leave, the captain announced that there were "fuel problems" and the flight would be delayed. We waited on-board for another hour before the captain again went on the intercom and told us that we'd have to switch planes to one leaving an hour later, but we could wait inside the terminal. Se we did. All the stores were closed by this point, past midnight, except for Tim Hortons. Needless to say, a very long line formed, and was moving slowly due to the fact that there was only one person working. I waited in line the entire hour only to get there and find out that the iced capp machine wasn't working, nor was the hot chocolate one. So Nicole nicely bought me a Diet Pepsi.
Finally we boarded the new plane and I took my seat, 37 E, beside Paige and Nicole. Montana sat on Nicole's other side and Chantal sat behind Paige. Overall, the flight was okay, though I barely slept. I woke up every time we hit turbulence or any loud noise was made. It didn't help that I had only a threadbare peasant blanket that barely kept any warmth in, nor the fact that those airplane seats are damn uncomfortable. I listened to music the entire night though, and as we began our descent, I listened to Rammstein (of course! One must listen to a German band when landing in Germany!). The airplane breakfast was almost all things I dislike, but I ate the croissant and hashbrowns and gave Nicole my ygurt. Everything else remained untouched.
Shorlty after, we landed in Frankfurt, where our group crammed onto a shuttle bus with several other groups, whichdrove us to where we would pick up our baggage. We went through customs with no hassle and grabbed our suitcases, then we headed to the bus where the kids from Tennessee were. We'll be travelling with them 'til the end of the trip. At first they seemed pretty cool and they asked lots of questions about Canada (since apparently Americans know absolutely nothing about us and we are complete foreigners), but they seem pretty annoying by this point.
We drove to Heidelberg castle, an old, well, castle in Heidelberg, outside of Frankfurt. It's ruins now, but still pretty interesting. I took a lot of pictures. Afterwards we were allowed to explore Heidelberg for an hour, which would have been far more fun if it hadn't been rainy and cold all day. But we (me, Chantal, Nicole, Paige, Montana) walked down the main street and checked out a bunch of stores. Heidelberg's streets are real cobblestones!
After shopping we went to the hotel where we were assigned rooms. I'm with Chantal. These rooms are unbelievably tiny, and there's literally no room for comfort. The supper provided was okay - asparagus soup (blech!) followed by veggies, potatoes and pork roast, followed by ice cream. I'm not feelig so great right now, though, and I really wish I'd brought some Pepto. Maybe I'll mooch Gravol from Paige.
Anyways, tomorrow's off to Munich, which should be fun.

Day 2 - Munich - 00:00 - March 21
Woke up at 6:45 and had a cheese sandwich for breakfast and then we headed out. It was grey and rainy and cold again and as moved toward Munich, it turned snowy.
We went to see a castle and to get to it we had to hike uphill quite a distance. My hands were frozen. Afterwards, we drove to Munich city. For supper we had rigattoni noodles and beef in some kind of sauce. It was really good! I also tried some German drink that's a mix of Fanta orange and cola that was also good! I hope tomorrow the weather is nicer though.

Day 3 - Munich - 21:20 - March 22
We woke up at 8 but I was almost more tired than the time we woke up at 6:45. Probably because I was up 'til one watching German MTV and reading. But anyways. Breakfast was croissants and O.J. and then we headed to Dachau, an old concentration camp turned into a memorial/musuem. We watched a video that told us about things that happened there and then were allowed to wander for an hour and some. Chantal and I checked out the barracks, nun section, crematorium and various other places.
After Dachau we went to Marienplatz in Munich, which is the main square, and were allowed free reign fortwo hours. The crowds were insane. I've never seen so many pedestrains in one place. Also, they are more impatient than in Canada, as in, they keep walking forward and don't move out of the way if you need to cross their path. I had Subway for lunch and then checked out a few stores. I didn't buy anything, though I saw a fewthings I wanted. After that we went on a two-hour bus tour of Munich, followed by watching the glockenspiel (sp?) at 17:00, which is some weird song thing. It's hard to explain. Then we had another half hour to shop.
Supper was mashed potatoes (which were unnaturally deliscious) and a hamburger thing following vegetable soup. Dessert was a bunch of berries. Lea, the exchange student who was at our school last year, met us for the glockenspiel. She was only in one of my classes and we never talked so I didn't think she knew me, but apparently she did and she talked to me and Chantal a bit. She's pretty cool.
After supper we headed to the hotel.
The sun was shining today!
Tomorrow's off to Venice after a stop in Austria. Long bus ride indeed.

There you go. Pictures to be uploaded sometime eventually.

OH MY GOD I just visited my Myspace, and I remember how much I love my profile song! lol! You'd think I'd just KNOW that I loved it, but these things tend to slip your mind when your mind becomes filled with Nightwishness!

I'm done talking now. I'm sorry I'm so long-winded and overtired.

And SERIOUSLY Mike, message me ASAP. I didn't block you in a fit of rage, and the French boys didn't romance me in the streets of the city of love, ahaha.

Currently Listening: Innocent by Our Lady Peace

And well, she wishes she was a dancer
And that she'd never heard of cancer.
She wishes God would give her some answers
And make her feel beautiful.
